I am very much interested in politics. I am basically a social democrat with an inclination towards liberal left. Some of my political beliefs are written below.
1) There is a general trend, I am observing, among the people in India that they are not showing interest in politics. This lack of interest would help the fascists to take control of politics.
2) I strongly support reservation policy ("positive discrimination" as known as in academic world) that has been implemented in India. As being from the "higher-caste" I know the kind of discrimination the people of "lower-castes" face. I also support the Woman reservation Bill. 3) I am against the so- called globalization going on thru out the globe. I feel this is more of centralization and Americanization.
